Bhava Handmade Stoneware Jug - Green Tulip

This glazed stoneware jug is handleless so also works well as a vase or toothbrush holder. It has a minimalist tapered shape, a wide base and is dishwasher and microwave safe.

The stoneware is hand made near Bhaktapur, Nepal by a family business run by two brothers, Santa and Laxmi. The production is organised by a World Fair Trade Organisation certified collective in Kathmandu.

Each piece is surprisingly chip resistant due to the high firing temperature of the kiln used to harden the clay. To maximise efficiency, not an inch of space is wasted in the kilns, which run for days at a time to maintain the heat.

Available in four colour glazes sourced from North India. The Mustard Yellow and Cream glaze gives a matt finish and the Teal Green a low gloss finish. The Ice Wash has a lovely rustic finish to it.

Microwave and dishwasher safe.

Approximately 10cm high x 8.5cm diameter at the base.

A faster service, usually delivered the next working day.

3: DHL EXPRESS - £8.50

Delivery by DHL courier using their express service which usually delivers next day (Monday-Friday only). Order by 11am weekdays for same day dispatch.

We are happy to accept orders from around the world, but only offer delivery within mainland UK (excluding Jersey & Guernsey due to required customs documentation).
