Our Vegan Friendly collection reflects our commitment to respect our planet, our environment and all the people, plants and animals that live throughout our world.

In the UK, vegan friendly generally means a product is vegan in its formulation, method of manufacture, packaging, and testing and is also sympathetic to a vegan ethos.

The term vegan  is not regulated by law, so products don't have to be certified to be vegan. However, there are independent organisations, like the Vegan Society, that can certify a product's vegan credentials. The Vegan Trademark is an international vegan standard that shows a product does not contain animal products or animal by-products.

Our Vegan collection only contains products that have the Vegan Society Trademark and also vegan-friendly products that are confirmed to be vegan by the manufacturer/company, ie they contain zero animal product, animal ingredients or animal derived ingredients.

In addition, all our Vegan Friendly products and gifts are also cruelty free, as are all Green Tulip products.

Choose from our range of Vegan Friendly gifts, cleaning & household products, beauty, wellbeing and gift sets.

    FAQs about Vegan Friendly

Vegan products are products which carry the Vegan Society Trademark. 'Vegan-friendly' products have not been registered with the Vegan Trademark but are said to be vegan by the manufacturer/company. We work closely with all our suppliers to ensure such claims are legitimate.

The term vegan is used when products to do not contains any animal-derived substances. However, this does not mean that these have not been tested on animals. A vegan product is not always cruelty-free. Cruelty-free means that animal testing is prohibited in each and every phase of the production process of a product. As such, a product that is cruelty-free is not necessarily vegan, i.e. a product that is not tested on animals but contains honey or milk. In reality many vegan beauty, wellbeing and cleaning products are also cruelty free, and at Green Tulip, we make sure they all are.

Nope! Not at all, many popular brands of cleaning products contain animal derived ingredients and some are not cruelty free either. Our MACK, Neat and Simple Living Eco along with our natural cleaning ingredients are all vegan friendly AND cruelty free.
