How we pack your
lovely orders

At Green Tulip, we’re always looking for ways to delight our customers and when it comes to packing your orders, we aim to do just that!

For every order...

At Green Tulip, we pack all your orders with the upmost care, and we are proud to say that every bit of packaging that leaves our stockroom is plastic free, 100% recyclable and as environmentally friendly as it can be.

We’ll reuse boxes where possible, or if we haven’t got a suitable reused box, we use simple kraft boxes, corrugated card or paper envelopes. We pad your order out using natural tissue paper or kraft paper, and we then use our smart Green Tulip paper tape to seal the boxes up.

Finally, we don't include any order paperwork in the box - one less piece of paper (and it means you never have to worry about the price of a gift accidentally being included in the parcel!).

For gift orders...

As you checkout, you'll see a tick box for 'Add a gift message & optional gift wrap'.

Tick the box and you'll be offered the option to include:

- one of our FREE greetings postcards (there's lots to choose from and you’ll find one for every occasion!)

- gift wrapping (for an extra £2.50). Your gift will be wrapped in tissue paper, packed in a natural cardboard box and hand tied with a natural paper ribbon bow in the colour of your choice.

- a gift message for your order. Just write it in the box and one of the team will handwrite it for you adding a personal touch to your gift!

Need to send multiple gifts to the same address, or only wrap part of your order?

If you are sending multiple gifts to the same address - for example a selection of Christmas gifts for the whole family - please choose the gift wraps and postcards you would like. You can then share details of what items need to be wrapped together along with each message in the 'Order Notes' section.

If you are getting part of your order wrapped and having it sent to you to give, along with other items, please make sure you let us know which bits you'd like included in the gift wrap.

For example:
"Plant your own farmyard and chocolate stars in red gift wrap with message 'To Zoe, Happy Christmas, Lots of Love U Jim and A Lisa xx' AND World map and chocolate polar bears in green gift wrap with message 'To Todd, Happy Christmas, Lots of Love U Jim and A Lisa xx"

If you are ordering multiple gifts from us and would like to write the postcards yourself we are happy to include up to four postcards per order. Please email us if you have any further requirements.
