Dog loving co-founders Russ Hales and Drew Griffiths left their Directors' roles in the corporate world to join forces and make a difference in an area they both had a passion for - the environment and their dogs!
The duo were uninspired by the dog treats available on the market - they were brown, bone-shaped and in ugly plastic packaging that couldn't be recycled. Knowing they could do better, they went to the pub (an excellent place to start!) and made a pact to create something different for doting dog owners to reward their beloved furry besties with.
The idea that their dogs loved to eat carrots as a treat was thought provoking - how about healthy, low fat treats made from vegetables? It was a concept they were excited to explore and so created their start-up journey immediately.
By 2021 W'ZIS? (what's this) was launched in the sunny seaside town of Brighton. By cleverly using a brand name that dogs already know, no training is required - just say it and they will come! W'zis?!🐾🐾🐕🦺🐕🦺
W'ZIS? produce refillable plant-based dog treats, healthy training treats and plastic free poo bags, perfect for eco-conscious dog owners who are keen to reduce the environmental impact of caring for their pets.
We love it when we come across a company that adds a twist to their products - and the W'ZIS range does exactly that. Lola has confirmed the treats are delicious from her extensive testing, and as her 'parent' I like the fact that they are tiny and low calorie so are great for training and rewards. Add to that the cool tins and fun names and we're all big fans!
