Pikkii

PIKKII

Founder and Creative Director Ste Smith grew up in a family with little money, so he would hand make cards and gifts for birthdays, Christmas and special occasions. When he could finally afford to buy, he discovered it was really difficult to find truly meaningful gifts, and would often go back to hand-making things - raising a smile, (sometimes a tear!) and making the recipient genuinely feel special. Ste figured that others would want to give gifts like that too...

The story behind Pikkii

FROM HANDMADE TO BEST-SELLING

With a degree in Product Design from St Martin's College and a strong belief that the art of gift-giving says a lot about the giver, Ste set about creating items others could personalise by hand and give to their loved ones, creating magic moments. Ste's ethos for the brand was that no one should settle for giving average, mediocre or boring gifts, and gifters should be able to be more 'picky' about the items they give, so he landed on the name Pikkii. Demand started to grow and by early 2020, Pikkii was launched.

SUSTAINABLE DESIGN

Today Piikkii consists of a whole team of creative designers continuously inventing fun gifts and lifestyle items from its London studio. Aside from Pikkii’s clever designs, the entire range is developed with sustainability front and centre, from material selection and focus on quality, to avoiding plastic wherever possible.

We love that about Pikkii and its belief that gifts should never cost the Earth. 💚💚

    Why I Love Pikkii

There are so many novelty gifts on the market that are packed full of plastic it is always a great pleasure to find a company that is trying to do things differently! The team at Pikkii are working hard to produce gifts that are both fun and plastic free - and I can vouch myself how therapeutic the paper plants are to make!
