When the idea for eco friendly household cleaning products came about, Dorset based MACK was already producing Biotech Solutions for commercial settings, a market where high performance and good value is essential.
Most cleaning products on the market either have effective cleaning and include heavy chemicals, or they are plant based but can be expensive and not always very effective!
So co-founders Ian Millar and Ant McCourt saw a gap in the domestic market and decided to launch MACK's biotech cleaning products with the best of both – they perform effectively, cost less and are not harmful to users or the environment.
So along came BioPods, natural enzymes and surfactants wrapped in a PVA coating that dissolves in warm water. The enzymes are produced by bacteria and added into the MACK formula to give the BioPods effective immediate cleaning action that instantly lifts dirt, oil, grease and grime from surfaces. The sprays can be wiped off immediately or left on stubborn stains for a while, but even after being wiped, the bacteria and enzymes will have formed a biofilm and will continue to clean for up to 28 days. That’s why MACK call them ‘a million little helpers’!
MACK are proud of the fact that every BioPod it produces is ocean-friendly, suitable for septic tanks, palm oil free and made in the UK. We think it's pretty impressive too!

Here at Green Tulip we love a brand with a sense of humour - especially if it gives you a smile when you are cleaning the toilet!! Of course as well as the fun names MACK's range of products are also good for the planet, offering a low impact way of cleaning the home by removing the need to transport heavy water. Unlike many cleaning brands, they also offer some great specialist products.

The coasters are excellent quality, a really lovely design, and really reasonably priced. They were shipped and delivered quickly and just an all 'round positive experience and purchase.
I can't comment on the actual products I ordered because they were all gifts, but the packaging is good and everything attractive. The order came quickly. There is such a huge choice on the website I will certainly be using it again.
Always loved these bags and now have found one which is kind to the earth and looks so cheery and can be taken anywhere with all the goodies or everyday essentials if you're not using for groceries etc.
