This insulated food jar is a really useful lunch box for hot or cold foods with a high liquid content such as soups, curries or pasta. The screw top lid is highly leak resistant, and only stainless steel is in contact with food inside the jar.

The biggest environmental impact of the daily purchasing of hot and cold food is the huge amount of non-recyclable, disposable plastic waste created. So making your own food at home and using up left-overs is an easy step to help reduce the mountain of plastic which is taken to landfill every day.
For hot foods, pre-heating the food jar is recommend by pouring hot water into the container for a few minutes prior to adding hot food. To pre-chill, place in the freezer a few minutes before adding cold food.
