Protect surfaces from heat and scratches with this stylish Mildo tablemat. The mat is made by hand, rolling small balls of raw sheep wool with soap and water, which are dried in the sun and then hand-stitched together to the required size. 20cm diameter.
Why we love it
Handmade to fair trade principles in a small workshop in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. The workshop employs around 110 women who may specialise in the felting process or stitching process or able to mix between. They all live locally and can work flexible hours within the day depending on their family commitments. Coloured with azo-free dyes.

The coasters are excellent quality, a really lovely design, and really reasonably priced. They were shipped and delivered quickly and just an all 'round positive experience and purchase.
I can't comment on the actual products I ordered because they were all gifts, but the packaging is good and everything attractive. The order came quickly. There is such a huge choice on the website I will certainly be using it again.
