Ideal for taking a waste free 'on-the-go' balanced lunch from home, the Buruni stainless steel lunch box consists of two separate tiers so is ideal for taking a savoury salad or sandwich, plus fruit or a snack to work in one neat container. Features include smooth folded edges, levered locking clips at each end for extra pressure during closure, and a handy silicone seal around the inside of the lid which makes it more leak resistant than the standard A Slice of Green containers.
Please note that although this container is suitable for wetter foods such as dressed salad or dips it is not designed for liquid foods such as soups and broths. We recommend a screw top food jar for liquid foods. To maximise leak resistance, we would advise transporting the container in the flat position. The bottom section of this lunch box does not have a seal and is designed for carrying sandwiches etc. The top section does feature a seal and is designed to be leak resistant.
Made responsibly in India from high quality 204 food grade stainless steel. Free from BPA, phthalates and lead.
The silicone seal is removable and can be washed separately, then reinserted, flat side down. Please ensure seal and container lid is clean, dry and free from grease before re-inserting. A spare seal is also included inside the container. More information on reinserting the seal can be found here.
Not for use in microwave. Dishwasher safe. We do not recommend the leak resistant lunch boxes for use in the oven, even with the seal removed. Prolonged exposure to very hot temperatures can cause the metal to distort and then there could be issues with the lid fitting properly.
Bottom Layer - 12.5cm wide x 16.5cm long x 4.5cm high. 600ml capacity.
Top Layer - 12.5cm wide x 16.5cm long x 4.5cm high. 700ml capacity.
Overall external dimensions approximately 13cm wide x 17cm long x 8cm high. 1300ml total capacity.

A Slice of Green lunch boxes and containers were designed to offer a stylish range of reusable products to pack and transport healthy, homemade food and snacks for all the family, working towards a zero waste 'on-the-go' balanced lunch.
A Slice of Green containers are made from high quality, food grade 204 stainless steel and have folded, smooth edges. Stainless steel is non-toxic and non-leaching and will not retain or impart flavours.
Responsibly produced in North India. A Slice of Green visited the manufacturer in 2018 who have previously passed an Asia Inspection Ethical Audit Report. The report covers working hours and wages, hygiene, health and safety, waste management, child and young labour, labour practices including forced labour, worker representation, disciplinary practices and discrimination.
We are happy to accept orders from around the world, but currently only offer delivery within mainland UK. Due to GPSR customs regulations, we are unable to ship to Northern Ireland at this time.

We offer the following delivery options. In all cases you will be provided with a tracking number. Orders received by 10am weekdays will be sent out the same day.
1: ROYAL MAIL TRACKED 48 - £3.50 (FREE for orders over £50)
This is our standard delivery option. Usually delivered within two to three working days.
2: ROYAL MAIL TRACKED 24 - £5.00 (Only £1.50 for orders over £50)
A faster service, usually delivered the next working day.
3: DHL EXPRESS - £8.50
Delivery by DHL courier using their express service which usually delivers next day (Monday-Friday only). Order by 11am weekdays for same day dispatch.
We are happy to accept orders from around the world, but only offer delivery within mainland UK (excluding Jersey & Guernsey due to required customs documentation and Northern Ireland due to GPSR Customs Regulations).

I bought my friend’s secret Santa gift from here and everything was perfect - the package was ordered and arrived within the stated time, the packaging was eco friendly and the products were just fantastic.
