Organic Soapnut Powder - 250g

Soapnuts are the shells of dried soapberry fruits that contain real natural soap and being completely free from synthetics and toxic ingredients, are excellent for ultra-sensitive skins and allergy sufferers.  They are highly valued by the rural people of India for washing clothes and as a naturally produced shampoo for washing their hair and for getting rid of dandruff. This is why some botanists have named the species as Sapindus detergents. Soapnut powder is highly effective and gentle at the same time. It will leave your laundry fresh and clean and compared to other powder detergents, its mildness will keep colours bright, maintaining the fabric structure of your clothes for longer periods. It is mild enough to be used on all fabrics at any temperature and is suitable for all washing machines especially energy-efficient ones. Simply add 2 tablespoons of soapnut powder into a sock and tie securely. Place the sock in the washing machine drum with laundry and wash as directed. After the wash has finished, discard all unused soapnut powder from the sock and dispose of in a compost bin or with the green waste recycling. To use as a mild cleanser for skin and hair, mix with water to form a paste. The paste can be used directly on the skin as a natural scrub for the face, body and scalp, to naturally cleanse and exfoliate resulting in healthier skin and hair.
