This silicone pint cup collapses concertina-style to a small disc, making it easy to carry around for takeaway drinks on the go. The included silicone straw is tucked into the bottom and is handy when using for iced teas and smoothies. 20oz/490ml capacity.

Although initially designed with coffee drinkers in mind, of course the cup is suitable for all drinks, both hot and cold. It includes a silicone straw and a stretchy heat band for a comfortable hold - just remember to pop the band on before filling the cup!

Made from high-quality, durable food-grade silicone, this cup can withstand the microwave, dishwasher and freezer; and it's certified free of BPA, toxins and all sorts of other nasty chemicals. It meets the highest world standards for food safety and unlike cheaper plastic cups, the silicone won't leech anything into your drinks.

The lid features a concealed air hole to make drinking easier and a leak resistant plug to keep pockets and bags clean after use. The lid and plug are made from polypropylene plastic, which has been made from recycled plastic. Although the lid can only be recycled in a specific process and silicone does not biodegrade naturally, the HUNU team are working with partners to find a recycling solution and aim to introduce an ‘end of life’ service in the future.

As silicone is a flexible material please handle with care, being mindful not to squeeze the cup when filled with hot liquids to avoid scolding. When placing the lid on the cup, hold the rim with one hand and press the lid on with the other - it's designed to be tight fitting to prevent any leakage. DO NOT try to put the lid on without holding the rim as this may cause the cup to collapse!

Cup and lid are dishwasher safe. However, to prolong the life of the insulation band, hand wash is recommended. The cup is suitable for use in a microwave, but the lid and band are not.

These are the best collapsable mug I have tried

I have bought several different brands over the years and they all have their faults, however I tried Hunu when they first went on Kickstarter and loved it. Sadly my cup was stolen on the metro in Paris and I didn't buy a new one for ages, so I was super happy to buy it here. Firstly, the mug feels like it could be flimsy, but it isn't the grip around adds some support but you don't really need it. The mug always stays strong. Secondly the heat insulation is great. you don't feel any heat coming through the mug, which is essential for when you are on the run. Thirdlythe straw is also well done, and bends well, but is stable when drinking and it doesn't flop all over the place like others I have used. Though I will admit cleaning it takes a little more effort because of the shape, but that does not effect my rating at all.
Lastly, i bought 2 in lavender and they are absolutely beautiful. I use them all the time, especially when i am out and about they are so convenient.
