The pads, liners and tampons are made from 100% organic cotton, certified by Soil Association according to the Global Organic Textile Standards. The waterproof backing sheet on the pads is made from a cornstarch bio-polymer which is certified compostable. The Nudie period cup is made from hypoallergenic medical silicone.

Based on the B Impact assessment, &SISTERS earned an overall score of 123.5 which is over double the median score for ordinary businesses who complete the assessment (currently 50.9).
