The Positive Doodle Diary

In this unsettling world we live in and constant exposure to media channels, it's no wonder children are experiencing feelings of anxiety and stress. A great way of helping children deal with these emotions is to write down their feelings in a structured, fun way. The Positive Doodle Diary is a hard-backed mindful gratitude journal designed to empower children with confidence through creativity.

The key to The Positive Doodle Diary is for a child to explore and use it at their own pace - is not homework and shouldn’t be about pressure. It's fun, colourful and engaging and depending on age, children can work with the diary either alone or together with an adult. The 'Dear Diary' pages have space to write about how they feel, reflect on what to remember about their day as well as sections on self-care and gratitude. As well as space for free doodling, there are daily positive affirmations for mindful colouring along with related exercises for self-care and positivity.

The Doodle is designed as a diary to be used every day and in total there are pages for 45 days. However, as it's left totally undated, a child can dip in and out as they wish – not every activity has to be done every day. The most important thing is that a child wants to do this, not has to.
