Upcycled from used bicycle inner tubes saved from UK landfill. Please note that due to the upcycled nature of this product, there will be blemishes and variations - you may even be lucky enough to get some manufacturer's text or an old puncture repair patch! Inner tubes are made from butyl rubber which contains polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons that can cause irritation. Keep away from mouth and avoid prolonged contact with the skin.

Cycle of Good collect waste inner tubes from cycle shops and cycling clubs throughout the UK and ships them in their own containers to Malawi where they are given to the tailors who carefully craft useful and beautiful items. All the upcycled inner tube products are vegan friendly and ethically hand crafted in Malawi by trained tailors through a fair trade initiative.

Cycle of Good pays above the national living wage and offers full employment rights such as paid holiday and pensions. Regular, reliable employment is essential and very hard to come by in Malawi. With no welfare state, the locals cannot work, and cannot support their families. The Cycle of Good has made lasting positive change for the communities in Chilomoni Township, Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world.
